The devoted service he has rendered as teacher for 37 years brought him the State Award for 1971-72 for the best teacher. He is particularly adept in teaching English. He organises group studies and special classes. He holds school assembly meetings and tries to give citizenship training to his pupil. He is an upholder of the efficacy of parent-teacher association and with the help of parents he efficiently checks dropouts from school. He collected 600 books for book bank in the school. He watches the growth and development of his pupils at every stage with care and conviction.
