With due deliberations and discussions in successive meetings it has been decided to rent the building for commercial use. With Mr.A.S. Subramanian’s (the current President) efforts, the building was rented to an auto showroom after proper negotiation. The occupants as permitted by the building committee therefore completed final finishing to the building. From 2003 a moderate funds are generated by way of rental income. With pride and keen interest large number of families converge for the annual Arunai Family Meet being organised since 1999 in Chennai. First one or two Meets were held at our Vandalur site. Spic and span arrangements include breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, Games, prizes & mementos to all women and children. During 2002, 2003 and 2004 the Family Meets were conducted in a centrally located venue in T. Nagar. This has become the much expected annual event in Chennai.
