Selvi B. Akshaya, BE, from BITS – Pilani, cleared UPSC 2023 Civil Services Exams Successfully, and secured *168 – Aall Inddia Rank. She is the Only daughter of Shri S. Babu – ICF & B. Vidhya of Koothalavadi. Shri S. Babu – ICF & B. Vidhya – SBOA School and Junior College, Chennai. Akshaya’s Paternal Grandfather (Late Shri Seetharama Reddiyar-Koothalavadi) & Grand Mother Late Srimathi Sarojini Ammal). Her Maternal Grand father * Shri Panduranga Reddiyar & Grand mother Srimathi P. Uma of Kikkaur village. Grandfather* is the son of First Tamil pandit of our community Late Shri Kuppu Reddiar, Kikkaur
Children’s Climate Prize 2020
Vinisha Umashankar [daughter of Mr. Umashankar & Mrs. Sangeetha; grand daughter of Mr. Sathyakumar- Gunadevi of Pudupalayam] of S.KP. Vanitha International School in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu has won the Children’s Climate Prize 2020 in the Clean Air category tor her innovation, the Solar Ironing Cart. She is, one among the two winners, Awarded a Diploma. Medal and Prize money of Rs.11.5I lakhs to continue developing their project work to take it to the next level.
